Doctor degree (Belarusian State University 1982), Doctor habilitation (Dr. Sci.) (Moscow Radio Engineering Institute 1994), grant of DAAD (1987-1988) and Heinrich-Hertz Foundation (1990-1991), invited professor of Ruhr University, Germany (2001 – 2002), Member of Council of National Space program of Belarus, member of OSA and Rozhdestvensky Optical Society.
Coordinator of 14 national and international projects for recent 5 years in the fields of ultra small satellites, ground mission control stations, GIS based Early Warning Environmental and Industrial Systems, Remote Monitoring, Optoelectronics, Bio medical Systems, Nano and Biophotonics, Bioinformatics, Laser Physics. Research is combined with high school education on the programs bachelor, master and doctor degrees.
More then 300 publications including 5 books and 8 patents.
